    Are there any lunch options that have character appearances? Most of them seem to only state that breakfast is the only time characters arrive to meet guests. Any help would be appreciated!

     Laura, I'm so pleased to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this Spring. Magic will be blooming all around you!

     Character Dining Experiences are a must-do when my family and I are vacationing together. Who am I kidding? They're a must-do even if I'm traveling without my kids! With delicious food and the fabulous company of beloved Disney Characters, I always recommend making reservations for a few of these unique meals during a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort.

     You'll be happy to know that many Character Dining Experiences offer availability during breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!  When checking availability for a particular restaurant online, select a meal period from the drop-down menu listed under "Time." You can even view menus for different meal periods by selecting "View Menu" on a restaurant's webpage, and then adjusting the meal period from the drop-down menu there. 

     Need a few suggestions for lunch? Here are some of my favorite Character Dining Experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort:


    • Chef Mickey's
    • The Crystal Palace
    • Hollywood & Vine
    • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
    • Tusker House Restaurant



     Character Dining Experiences are very popular among Guests. I recommend making your reservations as soon as possible! You can make your dining reservations online or by calling (407) 939-1947.
