We want to have lunch on January 1st, 2019 at Monsieur Paul, French Pavilion in Epcot; when can I make the booking? I have been trying to do so for a few days but the system doesn't let me...

    Bonjour Maria!

I see that you are putting festive and elegant plans into place for your New Year's Day 2019 celebration. I was truly impressed with the ambience and menu when I dined at Monsieur Paul this past March. On the second floor above Chefs de France, it is a hidden culinary gem among the many great options in World Showcase. If I may offer one bit of advice regarding the menu, do save room for dessert. The choices on the dessert menu are innovative. You're going to want to at least share a dessert with others at your table.

You may be having difficulty booking lunch at Monsieur Paul because this restaurant is typically open only for dinner. I see on the dining reservation site that their earliest reservation for January 1st is 5:30 pm. If you wish to enjoy lunch in the France Pavilion in Epcot on that day, consider making a reservation at Chefs de France. They have a delightful, authentic menu midday. If you go, please enjoy some French onion soup and crème brûlée for me!

There is a special dining event at Monsieur Paul at lunchtime on New Year's Eve this year. If you have the flexibility in your schedule to move your lunch one day earlier, you could call the Disney Dining reservation line at (407) 939-3463 today to book the prix fixe meal at noon, 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. on December 31st. If you'd like to participate in this event, don't hesitate. I suspect it will sell out quickly.

    Bon appétit,
    Jill
