Will luggage transfers be available Nov 2022 between Port Orleans and Bay Lake Tower ( DVC for BLT). Thank you

    Hiya Lynsey!

Welcome to planDisney.  If you ask me, there's nothing better than getting double the Resort magic during a Walt Disney World holiday. That's why I love booking split stay reservations at Disney Resorts Collection hotels –– it's like getting two vacations in one!  The incredible theming and unique amenities at each hotel make each stay unique.  How cool is it that you can enjoy the splendor of the savannah at a traditional African kraal and stroll down a turn-of-the-century coastal Boardwalk all in one vacation!  I hope you'll enjoy the split-stay experience as much as I do during your upcoming trip across the pond!

I'm happy to report that Bell Services currently offers complimentary luggage transfers between Disney Resorts Collection hotels and plans to do so in the future, meaning you can take advantage of this convenient service during your November stay.  On the morning of your Resort transfer, all you need to do is drop your luggage at the Bell Services desk or call to have it picked up from your room.  Keep in mind that it could take up to 30 minutes for luggage to be picked up and Bell Services typically needs your luggage before noon for transfers, so you may need to adjust your plans, accordingly.  After that, you're free to head out for the day's adventures. Once you arrive at your new Resort, simply stop by Bell Services or place a call from your new room to let them know that you're ready for your luggage –– they'll be happy to deliver it right to you!

During your Bay Lake Tower stay, be sure to head next door to Disney's Contemporary Resort to dine at one of Walt Disney World's newest restaurants –– Steakhouse 71.  This casual steakhouse is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offers a menu inspired by some of Walt Disney's favorite dishes –– including Walt's Prime Rib Hash and the mouthwatering Steakhouse 71 Chocolate Cake.  And if cocktails are more your style, head over to Steakhouse 71 Lounge for a swanky retro vibe and libations inspired by the 1970s.  Reservations are highly recommended for Steakhouse 71 and can be made beginning 60 days in advance of your arrival –– you won't want to miss it!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Lynsey.  If you think of any questions before your November trip, be sure to visit us again –– we're always happy to help!
