Greetings, Candace, and welcome back to planDisney!
A visit to
The Most Magical Place On Earth during the most wonderful time of the year sounds straight out of a Disney movie! Whether you’re attending
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, want to enjoy the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, or escape the cold of Canada for the warmer Florida weather, you will definitely get into the holiday spirit by visiting Disney World in December!
It sounds like you have an exciting stay planned, starting at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort and moving to the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel or the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. You’ll be happy to know that transferring your luggage between Pop Century and the Dolphin Hotel or Swan Hotel is a breeze. All you need to do is visit Bell Services at Pop Century, let them know you’re heading to the Dolphin or Swan, and they’ll take care of the rest. This service allows you to enjoy your day without the hassle of moving your bags yourself! My family and I actually just did this in June, transferring from Disney’s Contemporary Resort to the Dolphin Hotel. We left our bags in the morning while we enjoyed the parks, and by the time we got to our new home away from home in the evening, our bags had arrived! Too easy!
Once you’ve moved into your new home, you will find plenty to enjoy. If you’re a foodie, I recommend stopping by
Rosa Mexicano for an authentic Mexican dinner or indulging in some sushi at
Kimonos. For a more casual bite, you can’t go wrong with a visit to
Picabu or grabbing something quick at
Fuel. If you’re looking for some relaxation, check out the hotel’s beautiful pools or take a stroll around Crescent Lake. You can also rent Swan paddle boats for a unique view of the area or explore
Disney’s BoardWalk, which offers a variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
I hope this helps with your planning, Candace! If you have any more questions,
feel free to reach out.
