Hey there, Seth. Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!Seth, this question is close to my heart because my family often vacations this way. Last year, we spent one night at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort before transferring to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the year before we spent one night at Disney's Pop Century Resort before transferring over to Disney's Riviera Resort. I find that it's the perfect way to ease into our vacation and we get to experience two different Walt Disney World properties. It's like a whole second bonus quick trip! Now, Seth, while I love resort hopping, moving luggage from one spot to another can be a bit cumbersome, so I'm very happy to report that complimentary luggage transfer is available to you. On both the occasions I listed above, we simply took our luggage to Bell Services and let them know we were moving to another resort and Bibbidi... Bobbidi... Boo... it's Magically moved for YOU! Before you drop off your bags, I do have a couple of planDisney tips to help make your transfer as easy as possible. 1. Make sure to keep any items you'll need for that day with you. For example, medications, or maybe swimsuits might want to get packed in your park bag. Sometimes it can take hours for your bags to make it from one resort to the next, so anything that you'll need during the day should be kept with you. 2. Take pictures of all of the bags you are sending to the next resort and make sure to keep the tags given to you by Bell Services in a secure location. While it doesn't happen often, you never know when a fluffy blue alien going by the name Stitch will cause havoc during a transfer. Keeping your tags handy and having a photo of your bags makes retrieving any wayward luggage much easier! Seth, I hope this helps as you're dreaming about your fall visit to Disney's Beach Club Resort. If moving to a new Disney Resort Hotel works up an appetite, you might want to swing by the ice cream window of Beaches & Cream Soda Shop where you'll find sweet treats beside Stormalong Bay. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney and have a fantastic trip!Lauren
Greetings from central Pennsylvania! Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to answer all of your Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club questions. My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family.
