We would like to have our luggage sent to Disney Polynesian (vs. taking with us on the plane). But, the luggage companies only deliver M-F and we are arriving on the weekend. Can the bags be held from during the week to the weekend and opposite for return?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be an expert traveler because I think it's pretty smart to arrange for your bags to meet you at your Resort Hotel. It is possible to ship your bags in advance so you don't have to worry about them on the plane, and they can be held by Bell Services at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort until you arrive. Make sure to clearly write your name and the word "Guest" in the address field so you can do your part to ensure your bags get to exactly the right place. When it comes to your return trip, you will need to be there to facilitate the pick up of your bags. I think the best way for you to do this if you're dealing with a luggage delivery service is to take advantage of Resort Airline Check-In. If you're flying with a participating airline, you can check your luggage in at your Resort Hotel and it will be taken from there directly to the airport and you won't need to worry about it until your plane lands back at home. From there, you can either pick up your bags and bring them with you or arrange for a private delivery from your home airport.

I can't let you go without letting you know about all of the exciting things that will be happening at Walt Disney World Resort when you're there this week. On March 4, Disney's Hollywood Studios will be rolling out the red carpet for the debut of a brand new attraction: Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway! At the same time, EPCOT will be in full bloom because that same day is the start of the 2020 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. I think a perfect day would be spending the morning taking in a new attraction and then using the Disney Skyliner to glide between the two Theme Parks so you could enjoy the afternoon tasting dishes from the Outdoor Kitchens at the Festival. What a wonderful way to welcome spring!

    Have a magical day, Sarah!
