Ahoy, Sabino!
Thanks for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question! My house starts bursting with excitement once I get our suitcases out and begin packing for our upcoming Disney Cruise! Packing for a voyage with Captain Mickey is always fun because we'll have bathing suits, light jackets, dresses and even our pirate eye patches all in one bag! Haha!
Disney Cruise Line allows each Guest within each family to check in two suitcases. Along with two suitcases, each Guest is allowed to bring two carry-on bags to the Cruise Terminal on embarkation day. Depending on when your
designated Port Arrival Time is, your stateroom may not be ready right after checking-in and stepping onboard. My family and I like to bring one rolling carry-on bag to easily maneuver around the ship until our stateroom is ready and we can drop it off.
I'm sure by now you've seen how spacious the stateroom floor plans are aboard Disney Cruise Line! They are designed with families' needs in mind. With that being said, if you have a family of four and each of you brings two checked suitcases onboard with you, you might find yourselves trying to come up with creative ways to store all eight pieces of luggage within your stateroom. I suggest fitting your clothes in as few suitcases as possible and using the
onboard laundry facilities if needed!
Sabino, I hope you have an incredible voyage sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey! Please visit us again with any future questions!
