Hello, lucky to have MVMC and Jollywood tickets on 11.19 and 11.20. Any suggestions on meals close to MK and HS prior to going in @ 4:00 and 7:00 for a great Disney meal? Want to spend as much time as we can enjoying the events. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Dawn!  Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

It sounds like you have a spectacular holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort planned!  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort events.  Watching Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade as the snow falls on Main Street, U.S.A. never fails to put me in the holiday spirit.  This year there's even more holiday fun to be had as Disney's Hollywood Studios is hosting its own special holiday event, Disney Jollywood Nights.  I cannot wait to hear more about this as Guests begin to experience this brand-new festive party!

Whenever I have tickets to a special event in the theme parks, I'm just like you.  I want to maximize my time at the party, so I typically plan an early dinner somewhere nearby prior to the time that I can enter the theme park with my special event ticket.  The quick-service restaurants and the lounges at the resort hotels are the perfect places to stop for a delicious and convenient meal before your holiday parties.

Prior to attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, I recommend stopping by one of the quick-service restaurants or lounges at a resort hotel that is located nearby on the monorail route.  Capt. Cook's and Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are two of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat before the party.

One of the Resort Hotels situated along the Disney Skyliner route would be a convenient place to stop for dinner before Disney Jollywood Nights.  I would recommend Primo Piatto or Bar Riva at Disney's Riviera Resort.

No matter where you enjoy dinner, be sure to save some room for snacks at the parties!  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as we get closer to these special holiday events for announcements about the tasty treats that will be available during the parties.

Dawn, if you have any additional questions as you plan for your trip, please feel free to visit planDisney again.  Wishing you a happy holiday season and a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
