    We were lucky enough to get shuttle launch tickets for Nov.1 while we're down there at Disney. We will need to rent a car for a day or two to get to Kennedy Space Center. We're staying at Polynesian. How can we rent a car. Thanks... this panel is the best!

    Awesome!  I hope you enjoy the shuttle launch.  We were lucky enough to see a launch back in 2005 during my oldest son's first trip, and it is THRILLING to say the least! 

    The most convenient rental location is the Car Care Center located just outside Magic Kingdom parking lots.  Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental both have counters there.  You can go to each company's web site to set up a rental--just make sure that you select the Car Care Center as your pick up location.  They'll have a shuttle that will come right to the Polynesian to pick you up and take you to the CCC, and the shuttle can also drop you off after you've returned your rental.  You can find details about the shuttle service and other information about the CCC here. 

    Also, remember that with all launches, they are subject to change due to weather and/or mechanical issues.  Be sure to take that into consideration when planning your rental.
