Hi there, Jill!
Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As a former child dancer myself, I am so excited that your daughter will get to dance down Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom! She is going to have an unforgettable experience, and I'm sure it will be so special as you watch her proudly. Take plenty of pictures and video so she can relive this special experience for years to come.
I wouldn't lose hope just yet about obtaining a breakfast reservation at
1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. While there isn't a cancellation list, reservations are constantly being updated online as Guests cancel their reservations. I have been very fortunate to get many "last-minute" reservations in the couple weeks before my vacation while searching online or the
My Disney Experience app. I would be sure to check throughout all times of the day. I have been able to get some coveted reservations by checking later in the evenings and early mornings. In the meantime I would plan an alternative breakfast reservation that you can cancel if your desired reservation becomes available. Keep in mind that each restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort has its own cancellation policy, so be sure to confirm the policy before you make your back-up reservation. There are a number of fantastic
Character meals and delicious buffets on Walt Disney World Resort property that will be fantastic alternatives to start your day. Some of my favorites are Boma - Flavors of Africa, The Wave...of American Flavors, and The Crystal Palace to name a few.
I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions!
-Jennifer
