What is the lowest down payment for a vacation?

Hiya Lucy and welcome to planDisney!

It's always exciting when you get to start planning your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. No matter how many times I do it, I still get a little thrill when I make that first payment. I'm so glad that I get to help you make some magic of your own.

One of the magical little tricks to planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is that you can pay for your vacation package in installments. This handy dandy hack has been helping my family go on our trips for years. While prices are subject to change, currently all you need to lock in that package is a $200 deposit. Once that's paid you can break the rest of your total up just about any way you'd like. The hard and fast rule is that you must be paid in full 30 days prior to your arrival date. After that, all that's left to do is to pack up and get goin'!

Pro-tip: Since you're arriving in January, keep your ears open for the release of the dates for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. In years past, it would have kicked off around the time you're planning to travel. This festival is a surefire way to add a little color to the drab grey tones of winter. Check out Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date since I'm sure they'll be one of the first to announce the news.

Lucy, thanks for letting me sprinkle a little pixie dust today. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!
    Happy planning!
