Some of my favorite healthy snacks in the park include giant pickles, pineapple spears and other assorted fruit and veggies from the snack carts located throughout both theme parks.
For a heartier snack, head to
Bengal Barbeque in Disneyland Park for a flame-grilled skewer. My favorite is the Outback Vegetable Skewer which comes with a variety of vegetables including squash, onions and bell peppers. But there is more than barbeque at this location! Try ordering the Hummus Trio which comes with housemade hummus and fresh vegetables. Lastly, I recommend dining at
Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante where you can find a variety of dishes including a Cauliflower Taco Plate served with a side of rice and beans.
If you’re spending time at Disney California Adventure Park, head to the
Pacific Warf Cafe for my favorite, the Asian Tofu Salad. Ask them to omit the bread if you are looking to cut out some extra calories. Or head out of the parks to
Tangoroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill at the Disneyland Hotel. There, you can order the Rongo Salad or a Poke Bowl.
And don't forget that you may request a complimentary cup of iced water at select quick-service restaurants. No purchase is necessary!
