Is there a lower age limit for sail boat hire? Will my 13 year old son be allowed to sail with my husband? They are both experienced sailors. Will there be room in the boat for me too? Many thanks for taking the time to answer my question

Ahoy there Wendy and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
One thing we nearly always make time for during our holidays to Walt Disney World Resort is hiring some sort of watercraft, like you and your lovely family we just love messing about on the water!
Beautiful 14' duel hull Sailboats that accommodate from 2 - 6 sailors can be rented from Mikala Canoe Club Marina at Disney's Polynesian Resort; ideal for exploring the 600-acre watery expanses of Bay Lake and Seas Lagoon.
I believe that Guests need to be at least 18 years of age and show a valid drivers licence or passport to rent most watercraft, but your son might enjoy taking a new tack in his very own Sea Raycer!  These zippy 2-man little motor boats can be rented by any Guest aged 12 and over and who stand at least 5' tall.
I'm sure you'll have a magical time enjoying some boating fun - if you catch my drift!
If I can help you further plan your holiday to Walt Disney World Resort please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
