Hi Mom's - Loving your work :-) Only 6 days to go now until our 1st ever trip to Disney World, so excited!! I do not want to offend anyone, so please can you advise who I should be tipping and expected amounts? Many thanks

    Hi Barbara!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your Walt Disney World trip is so close ... I bet you guys are too excited to sleep!!

Tipping is definitely a personal preference and experience.  I can give you some guidelines of who I generally tip, but please know that it's entirely up to you.

I usually tip a valet driver and bellhop between $2 - $5, depending on how helpful and friendly they are. We stick with around 20% tip for servers at restaurants, but it can vary based on their service.  I also usually leave something for "mousekeeping" in the room.  They work very hard to clean up and make our room perfect, so I like to tip them to say thanks!  If possible, I leave between $10 - $20 every couple of days for them.

There may be other times you feel the desire to tip.  Things I can think of are tour guides, bartenders, activity leaders, etc.

Again, these are just guidelines. All tips are appreciated by the Disney Cast Members.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
