Loving the mom's help...so nice! Think it's b/w Caribbean and Orleans now. Opting the extra $ for the extra pirate activities in parks vs room so where is the best place to book at Caribbean for rooms, convenience and pirate themed pool access. Orleans?

    Hi Christina,

I think you'll find Disney's moderate resorts are a great place to call home during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

If I were to stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I'd request a room in either Martinique or Trinidad North.  These are the villages that flank Old Port Royale Centertown.  That's where you'll find the resort's gift shop, food court, and pirate-themed pool.

At Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside, buildings 14, 18, or 27 would be my choice if I wanted a room in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort.  If you'd rather stay amidst the southern charm of Magnolia Bend, then ask for a room in Magnolia Terrace.  All of these locations offer you easy access to bus transportation and Ol' Man Island, the resort's main themed pool area.

If you prefer a more compact resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter is the place to be.  Since this resort has a much smaller footprint than any of the other moderates, you'll be close to the pool and bus stop no matter where your room is located.

Wishing you a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
