    My 2yo loves lightening McQueen. We are coming to Disney in September. Is mcqueen at any of the parks?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your September visit will be here faster than Lightning McQueen can finish a lap in the Piston Cup, and I’m so excited for you and your sweet little Cars fan to experience some fall magic at Walt Disney World.

    Lightning McQueen is not currently meeting Guests in the Walt Disney World theme parks, but I have some turbo-charged news for you: McQueen and his pals from Radiator Springs can be found every day at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. You do not need to be a Guest of the resort to visit, so please feel free to stop by and wander the beautiful grounds. I think your two-year-old will love exploring the Cars area of the resort, where you can see Radiator Springs landmarks and take pictures with McQueen, Mater, and more by the Cozy Cone Pool. if you visit in the morning, be sure to stop by the Landscape of Flavors food court, where they serve Cars-themed waffles!

    While it won’t be open on your upcoming visit, I have to tell you about the all-new show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in early 2019: Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy! Maybe a 2019 visit with a stay in a Cars Family Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and a trip to this show is something to start dreaming about? But first, I’m wishing you and your family an absolutely wonderful visit next month!
