We would love to come to the park around the holidays to see all of the Christmas lights and decorations. But I can't seem to find when the lights are on meaning is it November or December any idea around when

    Holiday greetings, Maryann!

November and December are my favorite months to visit!!  Holidays at Walt Disney World are extra magical with the beautiful decorations and special activities.  The lights and decorations typically go up right after Halloween.  In most cases, the decor switches from "not-so-scary" to "very merry" overnight!

The most magical sight to see is Cinderella Castle dripping in gorgeous icicle lights at night.  The view takes my breath away every single year.

Are you planning on attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year?  This special event brings Christmas to life.  There are holiday parades, exclusive character meet & greets, hot cocoa, cookies, snow on Main Street U.S.A. and more!  Dates haven't been announced yet, but the Disney Parks Blog is the perfect place to stay current with new happenings around Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
