Hello, love this wonderful panel! Someone told me a long time ago they arranged to have a character welcome letter in their resort room when they arrived. Is this still available? If so, how do I arrange this? It's my daughter's first trip this April. Thnx

Hi Wendy! Things are always changing and sometimes things depend on who you talk to but in the past the resorts had nice cards that were autographed by one or more characters that could be used for special occasions.

The best way to see if this can happen is to ask for a manager when you check in at the front desk. Explain how important it would be for your daughter to have such a special message waiting for her. Generally nothing can be delivered to your room until you are checked in but if they have a card they can send it up with the bell staff and one in your party can wait for the luggage and the card. Once this is all in your room you can return to get the rest of the family and lead them to the surprises! Send your daughter to check out the pool with dad or the gift shop...that one always seems to work.

The reason you can't have things waiting in the room is because Disney has found that so many guests change the room assigned for one reason or the other. I had sent flowers to friends this past December only to find out that they never got them because they decided to change rooms. The policy is a good one but with some creative maneuvering you can still make magical surprises happen!
