LOVE all of your wise advice... Does the Poly have certain buildings that are just at the "Garden View" rates? If so, then are there certain "G.View" rooms that you'd recommend over others for a family with young two young girls?

    Aloha Sharise,

At the Polynesian, Samoa, Rarotonga, Rapa Nui, Fiji, and Niue are buildings that offer only Garden View rooms.  Our favorite building (or longhouse) is Tokelau.  It is nearly all garden view rooms with close proximity to both the main building, the Ticket/Transportation Center, and the bus stop making it easy to get to all the parks (so nice at the end of the day with tired little ones). The quiet pool is also next to the building.  But what makes it a favorite of ours is the ease of being able to see the fireworks.  We like to be on the first floor so all we have to do is walk out onto the patio and turn to watch the fireworks (you need to be a room facing the gardens, not the pool).

If you'd like to see the breakdown of what each room is at the resort, I'd visit www.tikimanpages.com.  From there, go to the Longhouses link.  You can explore of the longhouses and see the layout of the rooms by clicking on Floor Plan.  The site is truly amazing on its depth of knowledge about the resort.

Thanks for the question!  I'm so glad we've been able to help.  Please don't hesitate to ask more.
