I would love to visit Topolino’s Terrace with my husband and two teens for our July trip in order to grab dessert and watch the Epcot fireworks. Is this possible without a reservation?

Hey there, Sarah, and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Riviera Resort is such a lovely place to bask in the vacation vibes. Whether I'm staying there or just passing through, I breathe a sigh of relief the second I set foot on the property. Topolino's Terrace for a little dessert sounds like such a treat. While Advanced Dining Reservations may not be necessary, they are strongly recommended to ensure your family's place. But even without a reservation, I definitely know a way that may be a good fit for your family.

In the My Disney Experience app, you may be able to join the walk-up waitlist once you're close enough to the property. I've definitely waitlisted my fair share of dining locations and made it inside to enjoy my meal. Once seated, dinner at this particular restaurant is à la carte, so feel free to tap into your free will and enjoy dessert for dinner. Vacation calories don't count!

Pro-tip: Be aware that without a reservation, you may want to stick to using Disney Transportation to this resort. You may not be allowed to park without one.

Sarah, have the most magical vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
