Hi. I love to visit the park in October when it’s cooler and less crowded. Since October 1st begins the 50th Anniversary celebration, are the usual Halloween activities canceled or will they run concurrently? Thanks.

Hello Latrice! You are so right! October is a wonderful time of the year to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth! The weather is perfect and the crowds are still coming off of their summer highs! And, as you mentioned, it is time for Halloween!

Mickey is such a huge fan of Halloween! The Disney Parks and resort hotels will surely be decorated for the fall season! In fact, many are already decorated. That includes Magic Kingdom Park which has been celebrating the season of happy haunts since mid-August with the new Disney Boo Bash After Hours Event! This event, which will run concurrently with the 50th-anniversary celebration, is now sold out for this year. But have no fear, Guests can still see the beautiful fall and Halloween decorations at Magic Kingdom Park! The decorations are up all day and into the night for Guests to enjoy! My favorite are the Mickey jack-o-lantern wreaths on Main Street, U.S.A.!

Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park will still get to enjoy those spirited fall decorations, as well as the 50th anniversary festivities all at the same time!
