    I would love to try to get ressies for the fireworks dessert party. Does anyone know if they offer gluten free items or do you have to request something special?

    Disney's Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is a spectacular and very scrumptious way to view Wishes.  The amount of variety of desserts that are offered is amazing and watching Tinkerbell fly just over your head is pure Disney magic.  This is one of my family's must-do special event on each of our Walt Disney World vacations and each time is spectacular.

    One of my children has recently had to go gluten free and I am always amazed at the accommodations that Disney makes for dietary needs, Tomorrowland Dessert Party is no exception.  Let the Cast Member know when you make your reservations that a member of your party is on a gluten free diet and I also let the Cast Member know upon check-in.  The gluten free plate is enormous and we were given instructions that my son could have more, although I don't see how anyone would have room.  The giant Mickey Mouse plate that is brought out has an assortment of berries, chocolate cake, spice cake, chocolate chip cookies, gummies and a raspberry sorbet.  I even got to sneak a piece of his spice cake and it was delicious, he gave everything else very 5 stars.  In fact once we returned home, he wanted to know why my gluten free desserts don't taste as good as the one at Disney.  I'm currently working on it. ;-)
