I would love to travel to Disney when there are not much for lines. Is this possible? If So, WHEN?

    Donna:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel!

I've been to WDW during every season: summer, winter, spring, AND fall. Disney's designation of "Value" season is the best indication of low crowds and, therefore, shorter line waits. The lower room rates during this season entice travelers to visit during times of the year when, traditionally, school is in and crowds are smaller.

Of the Value months, mid-September, mid-November (before Thanksgiving) and January tend to have the lowest crowds, especially January. Just stay away from holiday weekends. Disney has run vacation specials like free dining in recent years during Value Season, so I've seen October and December have more moderate crowds.

Regardless, even a day of long lines at Disney still beats a short day at the office!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
