    Love the suggestion of buying disney gift cards to use for our trip so we are doing so any time we have extra cash. Can we add these gift cards to our key to the world card or will we have to carry them the eintire time?

    Disney Gift Cards is a great option for budgeting your next Walt Disney World vacation, Disney Gift Cards do not expire and you are never charged a fee for having a balance.I will pick these up all throughout the year when my local retailers offer incentives for purchasing them.I use them to pay for my vacation, pay for things while I'm on vacation and keep handy for those last minute gifts.

    To add charging privileges to your Key To The World card, you still need to add a credit card.Charges made on your Key To The World card will not be charged to your credit card until check out, upon check out have the cast member use the gift cards instead of charging your credit card.  If using Express Check-out, just make sure that you settle your charges with the gift cards before midnight on night before check out.  Since express check out doesn't require a stop at the front desk, your credit card will be charged anything you put on your Key To The World card shortly after midnight on your check out day.  

    To keep from carrying around hoards of gift cards, stop by the front desk daily to settle out charges that have been made and lock the rest in your room safe.Settling out once a day allows you to lighten the load of gift cards and to make sure that you are not close to your resort's charging "limit."  Disney Resorts have a "limit" for charging depending on the category of your resort.For Value resorts it is $500, Moderate Resorts $1000 and Deluxe Resorts are $1500, don't panic you can charge well beyond these amounts.  If you are staying at a Moderate Resort, for example, and you are inching your way close to that $1000 "limit", just go to the front desk to settle out with your gift cards.The limit is reset since your charge amount will be $0.
