    Hello. I love momspanel!..Can't stop reading Q&A :) I am planning a vacation on August 2012 with my boyfriend and 2 kids. Ages 8 & 5. Is August a good month to visit Walt Disney World? Also, do you recommend the Deluxe Dining? Thanks! :)

    Hi Brenda!

    It's hot and humid in Florida in August.  As long as you don't mind that, August is not a bad month.  If you can, I recommend visiting at the end of August, as a lot of children will already be back in school or getting ready for school.  The last two weeks of August are significantly less crowded than the first two weeks of the month!

    I am not a fan of the Deluxe Dining Plan.  I think it is too much food.  In order to tell if any Dining Plan would be good for your family, I recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.net.  There you can see the menus with prices for all of the restaurants at Walt Disney World.  Since you know what each person of your party might order, you can determine what it would cost to eat in any particular restaurant.  Then you can compare that to the cost of a Dining Plan.
