    Hi there! We love staying at the Contemporary because we can walk to the MK. We are interested in staying at the Grand Floridian. Is it possible to walk to the Magic Kingdom from there?

    Hello Stephanie.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    I absolutely have my favorite Walt Disney World Resort too, but sometimes it is nice to switch it up.  I just stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and had a wonderful time.  There is no direct path from the resort to the Magic Kingdom.  In fact, it would be a much longer walk than from Disney's Contemporary Resort.  However, the monorail will take you directly to Magic Kingdom with no stops.  I found that to be really convenient!  

    If you are looking to stay at a different Walt Disney World Resort, you can't go wrong with Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask us.  Have a wonderful day!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
