We would love to spend a day relaxing by the pool. However, we need shade. Do any of the value resorts have shaded areas by the pools? If not, do any of the Moderate resorts have shaded areas by the pools? Thanks!!!!!

    Hello, Joan!

Relaxing in the shade, poolside, is a fantastic way to enjoy a day at Walt Disney World!

You'll be happy to know that there are shady areas near many resort pools at various Walt Disney World resorts, in every price category.  You'll find tables with chairs and umbrellas at each category of resort. Should you wish to use a lounge chair, just pull one up to the shade provided by the table umbrella.

Of course, there is also shade, at times, provided by nearby trees and / or the resort building itself, so shady areas can vary depending on the time of day, too.

Have fun perusing your resort options as you plan your stay in Walt Disney World! Send more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
