    Hi love this site. Two questions, we are staying in the cabins at fort wilderness and we are arriving on Halloween morning. Do they do trick or treating there? My second question is where in fort wilderness can you use your refillable mugs? Thank you

    Halloween at Fort Wilderness remains one of my family's favorite past times. Campers dress up and trick-or-treat from campsite to campsite. It's like shooting fish in a barrel for kids. Most veterans of the event sit a the end of their "driveways" to give out candy, so you'll find that you won't have to knock on many RV or cabin doors. 

    We've found in the past that the resort does not publish its Halloween schedule too far in advance, but typically trick-or-treating begins around 5 p.m. on the 31st. You'll get a full schedule of this year's events in your packet at check-in. 

    You can get your resort refillable mug topped off at the Meadow Snack Bar next to the Meadow Pool in the middle of the resort or at the take-out counter at Trail's End Restaurant near the Settlement. The entrance to the to-go counter is between Crockett's Tavern and the entrance to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.
