    Love this site. We have a land/sea booked for Oct/11. We are staying at Contemp before and AKL after. Do we have to take our luggage down to the bus in the morning, take it off the bus and hand over to the porters or is it handled completely by Disney?

    When you book ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line (DCL), you receive exact instructions on what to do with your luggage and where and when to meet your motorcoach when you check into your Walt Disney World Resort.

    I have been instructed to leave my luggage with the resort's bell stand the night before a cruise, but more recently, my bags were picked up from my room the morning of my cruise. Nevertheless, once you hand over your checked luggage, you won't see them again until they magically arrive in your stateroom on board. Therefore, it's very important to pack your essentials in your day bag -- cruise documents, passports, and things you'll need before your checked luggage is delivered.
