Hello I love this site it is so insightful! My daughter and I will be traveling to WDW for the 1st time on July 20th. The weather report says to expect rain everyday a 60% to 80% chance! :-( Is the rain that bad? I'm afraid our first trip will be ruined.

    Hi Shonte,

Congrats on your first trip to Walt Disney World! I'm sorry that the weather forecast shows rain. Don't worry though! Summer rain in Florida is often a quick, heavy shower that doesn't completely affect your day. However, if it does happen to rain all day, you can still enjoy the parks. In fact, often the rain will keep the crowds away.

Be sure to pack umbrellas and ponchos in your suitcase, just in case. They are also available for purchase in the parks if you forget them.

I hope that helps! Have a great vacation!
