I love that there are now many runDisney events to choose from, but I find it hard to justify traveling and spending so much money on a half marathon. Are there any plans to add another marathon to the mix?

    Hi Megan!

RunDisney tries to keep up with runner demand and they are always looking at what runners want and need.  They have been adding races every year, so it is definitely possible that they may add another marathon in the future.

A lot of people use race weekends as a race vacation.  They plan a few days extra to go to Disney Parks with friends or family.  This is what I usually do.  But, I also understand that it is expensive if you just plan to do the race and nothing else.

If you are interested in running a marathon at Disney, definitely think about the one in January.  I ran it as my first full marathon this year and it was amazing!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I hope you choose a runDisney race that works for you!
