I would love to ride Slinky Dog but can not get a fast pass during our stay. If I make breakfast reservations, will I have a better possibility of getting in line prior to the crowd?

Hey Howdy Hey, Deborah! I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I'd love to give you a couple of suggestions for your upcoming vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth.

I completely understand your dilemma. I was in Disney's Hollywood Studios yesterday, and the posted wait time for Slinky Dog Dash was 120 minutes just moments after the Park opened. If you are willing to "Reach for the Sky," I'd highly suggest looking into Disney Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land. I experienced this event yesterday with my family, and it's a great way to beat the crowds and the heat. With our tickets, we were allowed in at 7:30 AM, and were able to whoop it up on Slinky Dog Dash three times with minimal wait, in addition to riding Toy Story Mania! and Alien Swirling Saucers. At 9:00, the Park officially opened, and we enjoyed breakfast at Backlot Express, which was included in the event.

An alternative suggestion would be to book an 8:00 AM breakfast reservation at Hollywood and Vine. You'll be able to enter the Park early for your meal, during which you'll get to visit with the Disney Junior characters. However, after dining, you'll be held back with the rest of the "rope drop" crowd, and many of them will be there well before 9:00 AM (yesterday, they were let into Toy Story Land at 8:55 AM).

I hope you enjoy your day in Andy's backyard, Deborah!
