    Hi, Rachel! Thanks for the props and the question! Feel free to inflate my ego at anytime. Seriously. Do it. If cost isn't much of a consideration, go with a monorail resort. If price is slightly stickier and you won't spend much time in your room, go with Pop Century. If price is sort of a consideration and you plan to spend a decent amount of time at the resort, I'd recommend Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge. With a daughter and a toddler, I'd lean more strongly toward a monorail resort. I - personally - wouldn't lean too hard because I have a knack for breaking objects when I shift my weight on them. Barnstormer was an awesome starter coaster, you're right! In its absence, I'd say go with Big Thunder Mountain. The cave in the beginning has a small fright factor but after that, the ride is hilly and fast and fun. That will be my 3 year old's first coaster in November. My parents weren't as considerate with me - Space Mountain was their choice for my first coaster. But I turned out okay. Umm, yeah...
