I would love to make reservations for dinner at Ohana restaurant (Polynesian resort) but my sister is vegetarian and when I was looking the menu I didn't see anything for her, any suggestions. thanks.

    Hi America!

My mom is also a vegetarian and I was very hesitant about visiting 'Ohana with her.  It is known for its delicious grilled meats and the mere aroma of them may bother some vegetarians.  If your sister doesn't mind the smell of roasting meats, she is in luck!  Leave it to Disney to have vegetarian (and even Vegan) options at a restaurant that serves HUGE slabs of beef!

The field green salad with a honey-lime sauce is great and the pineapple bread is out of this world!  Be sure to mention to your server that she would like a vegetarian option for her entree and the chef will more than likely visit your table.  She should also enjoy the fried wontons with dipping sauce, stir-fried veggies and potatoes.  For her entree, she may be offered tofu and noodles.  I heard that it was very tasty, but I prefer good old red meat!  Finally, the bread pudding dessert is absolutely to die for!

I recommend asking the server at each restaurant what they would suggest - they are the real experts!  Have a wonderful (and delicious) trip!
