best birthday present ever!
A birthday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with a nice lunch built into the middle of your day sounds like the perfect way to celebrate! The good news is that you have some wonderful options both at Hollywood Studios and nearby. Here are some of my favorites that I highly recommend for a special day like this:
The Hollywood Brown Derby - This is right inside the park at Hollywood Studios and it would be a terrific place to celebrate a special occasion. As one of Disney’s Fine/Signature Dining locations, it would be the perfect choice if you’re looking for something nice and worthy of a birthday lunch. They are famous for their Cobb Salad, and the grapefruit cake would be the perfect birthday treat!
The Cake Bake Shop® Restaurant - Located on Disney’s BoardWalk, this just might be the perfect place to celebrate a birthday! All of the food is amazing, but the star of the show is their cake slices. You could have your pick from a selection of the most beautiful and delicious cake slices you’ve ever seen! Just take the
Disney Skyliner from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT, and then the Cake Bake Shop is just a few minutes away by walking to the BoardWalk.
Ale & Compass Restaurant - Here is a hidden gem at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. It’s one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort restaurants! You can also take the Disney Skyliner from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT and then it’s just a short walk to the Yacht Club. Be sure to try the Parkerhouse Rolls and Spreads for an appetizer. Any of the main plates would be a fabulous choice, but I love the New England Seafood Pot Pie. Then for dessert, don’t miss the Boston Creme Pie!
Chefs de France - If you have a Park Hopper ticket, just inside the International Gateway near the EPCOT station for the Disney Skyliner is this gem of a restaurant. It's located in the France pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase and is a wonderful dining experience. It’s definitely a place I’d love to celebrate my birthday!
