I love reading your panel - thanks for all the help! Planning my kids first trip to WDW and have a ? considering FW cabins. We would need to use the murphy bed. Is it comfortable? I don't want to spend my whole vaca with an aching back! Thanks!

Hi, Allison! Our family of six has stayed a couple of times at the Fort Wilderness Cabins. Although they are a little tight for us, Fort Wilderness is one of our absolute favorite resorts because of all the activities and the convenience to the Magic Kingdom.

In the cabins, there is a double bed and a set of bunk beds in the bedroom and a Murphy bed and sofa in the living area. My rather large (over 6 feet and over 200 pounds) teen son was delegated to the Murphy bed, and we had no complaints from him. (Of course, the lack of complaining may be due to the fact that he was just so thankful that he didn't have to share a bed with a sibling!) So, you and your back should be just fine.

I'm very happy that you find our panel so helpful, and I'm thrilled about your upcoming first trip to WDW! Let us know if you have more questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
