Hi, love reading everyday, I find myself taking the same pictures from one trip to the next, what are some suggestions for some different photo ops or themes? Thanks as always!

Hi Lesley...thanks for visiting the Moms Panel every day;  I love your question!  Like you, I find myself taking pics in the same spots time after time - here are some fun ideas that you may not have thought of:  First, you might want to head over to the new Art of Animation Resort. It is a feast for the eyes, and photo opportunities abound.  Larger than life statues of favourite characters from Cars, Lion King, Finding Nemo and Little Mermaid make wonderful subjects  or backgrounds for your pictures.  I had so much fun taking photos there, and you don't need to be staying there to check out the grounds of this resort.  Another idea is to take a picture in each of the countries in World Showcase at Epcot - wearing a sombrero in Mexico, next to the large Troll in Norway, with the Eiffel Tower in the background at France, standing in the red phone booth in United Kingdom, etc. - each of the countries has something iconic that you can group together in a fun "passport" of your trip around the world! Finally, how about a hidden Mickey search?  Hidden Mickey's abound all over Walt Disney World, and we always have fun trying to spot them.  Snap a close-up photo of the Hidden Mickey and then snap another with something that will remind you of where you found each one - these also make a nice compilation for photo albums!

I will say that the repeat photos that we always take have been a fun "time capsule" of how our family has grown and changed.  It's kind of neat to have family photos standing in the same spot each trip;  the kids get taller and Mom and Dad get older, but we treasure these pictures as a record of the wonderful memories we have made over the years.  So don't stop taking those "same old pics!"

Have fun with your pictures, and I wish you a very magical vacation at Walt Disney World.  Please come back and ask me any more questions you may have!
