Love the pannel:) Dose 3rd or 4th week of Sep. in 2011 sound good and how about Disneys Corondado Springs sound as a Resort. This is our first disney trip

Hey Jake from the great Green Bay Packer state!  September is generally considered a great month for a Disney visit when thinking about low crowds in the parks.  With the various specials they offer things can change from year to year but in my opinion it would still be a super time.

You will find the weather very warm yet in September so plan accordingly.  Some pool time or water park days are definitely perks to put into the itinerary. Average temperatures will be anywhere from about 72-90 degrees and it is still the afternoon rainy season.

I prefer Coronado Springs as a moderate resort since this is the only moderate to offer queen beds in the rooms. All other moderates will only have doubles.  The rooms have been recently refurbished and they are bright and cheery and quite comfortable.  The complex is quite large as are most of the other resorts in this category so be aware you will most likely need to use the internal buses to get around.  The main pool is themed with a great water slide and there will be smaller pools located among the buildings.

This resort has a great restaurant called the Maya Grill and there is ample quick service and snacks also available at the Pepper Market and Cafe Rix. Because it is a convention resort you will find the extra amenities such as a Fitness Center, spa services, and salon.  Recreation includes fishing, boating, biking, arcade, and playgrounds in addition to the swimming pools.
