Love the pannel! Coming to DW 8/26-8/31 staying at All Star Sports. Taking DT to all parks and DTD. Would it be worth upgrading to moderate strictly from a Trans. point of view? Would it be possible to do so so close to upcoming trip? Please Help! :)

    Hi Maegen,

How exciting that your vacation is days away!  We almost always use Disney Transportation exclusively to get the the parks and Downtown Disney.  We've also stayed in many resorts in a variety of categories.  In my opinion, transportation to the parks and Downtown Disney is very similar in both the moderate and value resorts.  Buses transport you between he parks and your resorts in both categories, and run continuously approximately every 15-20 minutes from before the parks open until well after they close.  I wouldn't recommend changing your resort on the basis of transportation alone, as I think you'll find both categories have similar wait times, times, etc..  However, if you are interested in upgrading to a Moderate Resort for additional amenities, a different pool, table service restaurants, etc. you could certainly call the reservation line and ask if rooms are available at the resort you are interested in.  The Cast Member who assists you will let you know what the price differential is and whether the particular package or promotion you booked is available at the new property.  We have modified our reservations as close as one day prior to our arrival in the past.

Whichever resort you end up calling home for your trip, have a wonderful vacation!
