LOVE this panel--huge help planning our trip!! I've heard the scrapbook store in DD has closed. Where are my best bets for finding supplies when we are there 11/27-12/3. Thanks so much. (I want to be a "Disney Mom" when I grow up...)

    Hi Molly,

Thanks for the Mom's Panel compliment - hopefully, your dream will come true someday!  It's always great to talk to a fellow scrapbooking addict.

I can't tell you exactly where to find scrapbook supplies at each store, but I do know by looking at my personal stash that you won't have any trouble finding them.  I've bought supplies in Mouse Gears at Epcot, the Emporium in Magic Kingdom and even in the large gift shop at Animal Kingdom.  It seems as though a lot of the larger stores have a small selection, usually hanging on a wall near the photo albums.  You'll even find some supplies in your resort gift shop.  I have to warn you that there aren't tons of papers available.  It's usually a selection of character shaped brads, stickers and other embellishments.  Of course, it's possible that things have changed since my last visit.

I have to tell you about my favorite embellishment - pressed pennies!  A single pressed penny from a favorite attraction can really stand out on a page.  There are pressed penny machines all over Walt Disney World.  It's fun finding the perfect image for the perfect page!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
