Love the Mom's Panel. My ? is: My 8 yr old niece & I (coming Aug 19-26) were looking to see the Opening Ceremonies at MK. How early before the opening shd we plan to be there and is there a prime standing spot to try to get to. Thanks so much!

Greetings, Dierdre, from a fellow New Jerseyan!

Plan to arrive twenty to thirty minutes before the published opening time at the Magic Kingdom in order to catch the adorable show which marks the opening of the park for the day.  Once you are inside the ticket turnstiles, simply position yourself in front of the lovely flower gardens directly in front of the train station. (Do not go through the tunnels directly under the train tracks).  This will be a wonderful viewing location for the show.

Wishing you an August vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
