    Hello Love this Mom's panel. Just wondering if Downtown Disney does anything for Black Friday? Will be in the World at that time. Thank you for your help.

    Hi, Denise!

    Right now, the only super-sale currently advertised at Downtown Disney will occur on November 5, 2011. This is the Benefit Sale, where shoppers purchase a $5 voucher in advance from Heart of Florida United Way, with all proceeds going to the United Way. This voucher entitles the bearer to early admission to the shops and a bevy of deep discounts throughout the shopping complex.

    Last year (2010), on Black Friday, there was a wristband distribution early in the morning, followed by early admittance to the shops for those lucky wristband wearers. Doorbusters abounded, followed by extended shopping hours to kick off the holiday shopping season.

    But it is still early yet! Many shopping centers do not post their deals until November; if Downtown Disney merchants are planning special Black Friday deals, it is likely that they will be publicized closer to the date in question. Keep checking Downtown Disney for more information as the days get cooler!
