Hi, love the panel!! We are going to WDW Aug 24th with my mother-in-law. It will be her 1st time. We will be staying at SSR. Do you know which is the best building to stay at and what order does the bus pick up people to go to the theme parks?

    Hi Cecilia:

Although always subject to change, the bus stop order at Saratoga Springs Resort to the Parks is: Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park and the Springs.

A big advantage of Saratoga Springs is that parts of the Resort are within short walking distance to the restaurants, shops, and attractions in Downtown Disney. In addition to quick and easy access to Downtown Disney, being close to Downtown Disney also means you can also take advantage of direct buses from Downtown Disney to other resorts. When we travel to Disney, my family often likes to eat at restaurants at other Resorts. When staying at Saratoga Springs, we can save time and still use Disney's free transportation system with a quick walk to Downtown Disney to catch a direct bus to the Resort destination without having to make a transfer. Request a room in the Congress Park section of Saratoga Springs to be close to Downtown Disney. It's not necessarily close to the main building, but we've found that the benefits of being close to Downtown Disney outweigh the benefits of being close to the Main Building. If you want to be closest to the main building and main pool, request the Springs section.

    Enjoy your vacation.
