Hello, love this panel! My ? is, we are visiting Disney 9/18 to 9/28. I have 8 days filled up with parks/waterparks/and downtown. What would you suggest for the remaining 2 days? My kids are 10 and 12. Thanks for your help!!

Hi, Vicki!    You might think this is a crazy answer, but plan NOTHING!    We all spend so much time figuring out what resort to stay at, then we rush away from it our entire vacation!  Whether you are staying on or off property, many of the resorts have amazing pool areas and fun activities for the kids.   We were at the Contemporary a few weeks ago, and we spent an entire day at the pool, arcade, and food court right in our resort.   My daughter loved the pool side activities (and not to brag, but she did win the hula hoop contest!)   There was a dance party, sidewalk chalk, trivia contest, and more.  My son loved the campfire at night and watching a movie on the giant screen on the beach.   It was such a relaxing day and it really was a nice break mid-week for us.   It re-energized us for the parks the next day.  When you check into your resort, ask for a list of resort activities.

If  you MUST have something planned, how about miniature golf?   There is Winter Summerland near Blizzard Beach and Fantasia Gardens near the Boardwalk.    Resort hopping is another fun activity.  Go check out a resort that you might want to stay at on your next WDW trip.   Have lunch there and walk the grounds.    Another idea is head over to Port Orleans Riverside for Catch-and-Release fishing.   Your kids might get a kick out of fishing!

I hope this helps you figure out how to spend 2 free days at WDW - oh, what a problem to have!  Enjoy!
