Love the panel. Trying to decide between ASM and POFQ, What I am worried about is the bus transportation. Due to POFQ sharing buses with POR and POR being a large resort with 4 stops does it take longer than ASM?

    Hi Debra,

I just stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter in June.  I was very impressed with the speed at which we arrived at the Disney theme parks when traveling by complimentary Disney transportation.  I noticed that we only shared buses with Riverside in the evenings as we were returning from the parks.  In the mornings, guests staying at French Quarter enjoyed their own exclusive buses.  It was really nice!

Disney's All Star Resorts do share buses with each other.  The buses will stop at Sports, Music, and Movies before heading to the parks.  However, you'll save money by staying at Disney's All Star Resorts because they are a value resort.  Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is a moderate resort by contrast.

All things considered, I'd book your room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  The rooms have been recently renovated and the ability to take a boat to Downtown Disney is an extra perk.  The resort is centrally located on Walt Disney World property so none of the theme parks are very far away.  I really enjoyed this charming New Orleans-themed resort.  I bet you would too.

Best wishes for a magical trip no matter where you decide to stay!
