    Love this mom's panel! I am trying to decide between 2 adjoining rooms at the Contemporary or Bay Lake Tower for a family of 7. Which resort do you like better and is one a better value?

    Hi Carrie! Thanks so much for your kind words, we LOVE your questions, so keep them coming! We spent summer vacation enjoying the sweet life at Disney's Contemporary Resort and it was magical!

    Disney's Contemporary Resort is iconic. The monorail travels right through the fourth floor, which is super magical. Just across the way is Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort - absolutely breathtaking.

    Traveling the Disney Vacation Club way has definitely spoiled me. I LOVE having all the comforts of home away from home in our vacation villa. Having our own groceries on hand and a fully equipped kitchen plus washer and dryer are priceless when you're traveling with a big family!

    In terms of value for my money, nothing beats the standard amenities of the Disney Vacation Club villas. With a family of 7 I know having a kitchen and a washer/dryer means vacation bliss. You'll still have direct access to the monorail, it's just a short stroll across the adjoining walkway.  You'll love the picturesque views from your villa in Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Another bonus is the viewing deck at the "Top of the World Lounge." It's exclusive to Disney Vacation Club members from around 5 pm until midnight with an incredible view of the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks show above the Magic Kingdom Castle.

    For those down times my kids loved hanging out in the Community Hall in Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. From fuse beading crafts, coloring and billards there are so many activities to keep little hands busy when it rains or you need a break from the parks.

    Speaking of the parks...the best thing about both resorts is being able to simply walk to Magic Kingdom in less than 10 minutes...it's truly magical!
