    Love the panel! 1st trip to DL in July. I know at WDW you can use gift cards for dining, shopping, etc. What about DL? Are gift cards acceptable forms of payment at TS and QS restaurants? Downtown disney shopping? Don't want to carry too much cash. Thanks!

    I am so glad to hear that you are going to the Disneyland Resort in July. It will be a great time to visit, with the opening ofCars Land and Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure as well as all of the updates at Disneyland. I cannot wait to ride the update Matterhorn. It looks so awesome. I think the idea of using Disney Gift Cards is a great one. We often only use our Disney Gift Cards when we visit because you can use them almost everywhere. You can totally use them for dining, merchandise and shopping at almost every location inside the parks. It is a great idea. I would even suggest that you take a photo of the back of the card. That way, in case it becomes lost you can work with Disney to restore the value. I think you have the right idea and are playing it smart by bringing the gift card. Both parks are going to be so much fun this summer. I am thrilled that you are going to have such a magical vacation and I will see you at the parks.
