Love the panel!! Will be traveling to WDW in December and during that time I will be in the middle training for a 1/2 marathon. Staying at WL...do you knowif the jogging paths are well lit or do I need to plan on running during daylight hours? Thanks!

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the Moms Panel, and thanks for asking a great question!  Several of the Moms here are "in training" as well for the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon so this question is near and dear to us!

I would recommend planning on training during the daylight hours.  The paths in and around the Wilderness Lodge/Fort Wilderness area are various terrains through swampy wooded areas.  For your safety I would opt to tackle these unfamiliar paths during the day.  There is plenty of shady spots due to the canopy of the trees, so the sunlight should be filtered.

If you visit www.allearsnet.com they have an entire paged dedicated to all of the running trails throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  Simply do a quick search for running trails and you find a lot of great information.

    Best of luck to you!
