Hi...love the panel!!!! We have tickets to MNSSHP for Oct.1/09 and was wondering what the evening temp is like then so I can decide on costumes for our 2 & 3 1/2 yr old. Don't want to get them something that will be too warm or vice versa..thx so muc

    Hi Catherine,

My family, including our three year old, visited WDW last year during the same exact week and it was very warm.  We brought an adorable shark costume, unfortunately it was much too warm to wear.  We had told her all about Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party and she was so excited to go trick-or-treating through the Magic Kingdom. We ended up buying a Jasmine dress and wig at our resort.  She loved it and it became an addition to our dress-up trunk.

I think the best plan would be to bring a costume that can be layered.  Make sure the shell of the costume is at least short sleeved.  Heavy felt costumes, like our shark, most likely wouldn't work.

Also remember that you don't need to be dressed up to get treats.  Everyone who enters the party will be able to collect treats at the trick-or-treating stations.  Castmembers will be giving out bags to hold all of your treats.  You can also bring your own bag or bucket.

    Have a great time
