Hi Lisa!

The water parks are my family's favorite thing to do at Walt Disney World when we aren't playing in the parks! Sometimes, we just take a day trip to Typhoon Lagoon on hot days.

The park calendars only go up to January 2013, but I'm pretty sure that Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open in March. The refurbishment schedule for the water parks is usually in September and October and sine March is a fairly busy month getting ready for spring break, chances are good that they will both be open when you are planning to visit.

Crowd patterns? Late March to early April will probably be on the busier side because of guests traveling for spring break, but don't let that scare you because even on the busiest of days, the water parks are very manageable. My tip is to get there when it opens. A lot of guests like to come in the afternoon when it gets hot, so the mornings are pleasant.
